Foam Fabrication Team Leader — Events Workshop

What you will do

• Lead the foam fabrication team; allocate tasks and run daily toolbox talks.
• Interpret drawings, 3D models, and sketches into accurately scaled physical props.
• Carve and sculpt foam with 3D robots, hot wire cutters, rasps, and rotary tools; assemble large-scale structures.
• Apply detailing, textures, and hard coatings (polyurea, epoxy, sand-coat) for durability.
• Work with designers, painters, and welders to integrate armatures and electrical components; maintain specialized machinery.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of professional foam sculpting, prop-making, or scenic art, ideally in events or film.
• Proven team leadership with strong communication.
• Expert hand-carving plus 3D robot and hot-wire operation; strong 3D visualization from 2D drawings.
• Scenic painting and texturing proficiency; physical stamina for large materials.
