Ce que vous ferez
- Lead designers and engineers translating briefs and renderings into accurate 2D/3D shop drawings (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
- Perform and review structural analysis and load calculations for custom structures, rigging points, and suspended elements.
- Apply design-for-fabrication principles to optimize efficiency, material usage, and cost.
- Generate BOMs and CNC programs; review all fabrication drawings before release to production.
- Ensure products meet fire, structural, and public-venue safety codes.
- Support cost estimation, procurement coordination, and the engineering change process.
Ce que nous recherchons
- 10+ years as an engineering manager in custom event fabrication or scenic workshops.
- Strong materials engineering knowledge (metals, plastics, wood) and fabrication processes: welding, carpentry, foam, printing, painting.
- Advanced AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor; SAP experience valued.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or structural engineering.
